What is PPR Manifolds?
In a pipeline system, a manifold is a core hub device used for distributing, regulating, and collecting fluids (typically water). It essentially functions as the "traffic hub" of the water pipeline system. Its primary role is to channel water flow from the main supply pipe into multiple branch pipelines while allowing independent control of each branch when necessary.
Manifolds' Structure:
1.Main Inlet: Connects to the main pipeline.
2.Multiple Branch Outlets: Each outlet is equipped with a control valve.
3.Valve Cartridge: Ball Valve Cartridge.
4.Mounting Bracket: Used to secure the manifold to the wall.
5.Connectors: For connecting pipelines.
What are the functions of MANIFOLDS ?
1.Flow Distribution:
Diverts incoming water from a single main supply pipe into multiple branch pipelines, delivering water to various usage areas or fixtures (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens, balconies).
2.Independent Control:
Each branch outlet is equipped with an independent valve, allowing isolation of specific sections (e.g., toilet, shower) for maintenance or replacement without disrupting water supply to other branches.
3.System Pressure Balancing:
Minimizes pressure fluctuations by reducing unnecessary fittings and bends, while optimizing pipeline layout to mitigate interference between simultaneous water usage points.
4.Ease of Maintenance:
Centralizes all connnectors and valves in a single location. Inspection, operation and maintenance are very convenient.
