What is PPR Double Union Ball Valve With Plastic Ball ?

The PPR Double Union Ball Valve With Plastic Ball is a specialized type of ball valve designed for PPR (polypropylene random copolymer) piping systems.

Feature

Locking double union structure: The unions on both sides of the valve body are equipped with mechanical locking devices to prevent the unions from loosening due to pipeline vibration or water hammer impact.

Pressure level: S2.5 (PN2.5), corresponding to 2.5MPa normal temperature pressure bearing capacity to meet medium and high pressure scenarios such as high-rise building water supply (temperature must be strictly limited!).

Size range: DN20-DN63 (covering 4-inch to 2.5-inch pipe diameters) Suitable for household branches (DN20) to small and medium-sized engineering mains (DN63).

PPR valve body: The hot-melt connection end is compatible with the pipeline, seamlessly connected to the PPR system to avoid metal corrosion.

Applications

Recommended use scenarios (the following conditions must be met at the same time):
1. Low-temperature fluid: medium temperature ≤60℃ (such as cold water pipes, low-temperature floor heating return pipes, air conditioning cooling water).
2. Medium and low pressure systems: working pressure ≤1.6MPa (the actual pressure decreases with the increase of temperature, and should not exceed 1.0MPa at 60℃).
3. Vibration protection scenarios:
 1) Pump outlet vibration area.
 2) High-rise building risers (obvious water hammer effect).
 3) Mobile equipment water supply interface (such as ships and vehicle pipelines).
